A conversation between mum and daughter can be challenging at the best of times. Even with the best of intentions it can feel like you are communicating in different languages and can end with anger, frustration and resentment towards each other. Technology is affecting how we communicate and sometimes sharing feelings and thoughts can feel hard to do.

About this workshop

This weekend’s focus is learning how thoughts and feelings shape experiences and behaviours, understanding and learning how to communicate with each other to build connections and take-home tools and strategies that will help calm any situation. 

Working with horses teaches girls compassion, empathy, self-discipline and understanding as she cares for the horse and interacts.  Together, and through the interaction with the horses, you build your connection, supporting each other through the activities.

Time with horses and time together in this open nature-based environment compliments the strength of the relationship between mother and daughter.
